Privacy Statement

Academy Di Capelli’s Privacy Statement Academy Di Capelli is highly sensitive to the privacy interests of consumers and believes that the protection of those interests is one of its most significant responsibilities. In acknowledgment of its obligations, Academy Di Capelli has adopted the following Privacy Policy applicable to information about consumers that it acquires in the course of its business: 1. Acquisition of Information. We do not acquire any more information about consumers than is required by law or is otherwise necessary to provide a high level of service efficiently and securely. 2. Our Employees and Privacy. We train all of our employees about the importance of privacy. We give access to information about consumers only to those employees who require it to perform their jobs. 3. Security Measures. We make access to privacy-sensitive information subject to rigorous procedural and technological controls, consistent with legal requirements and the demands of customer service. 4. Disclosure to Third Parties. We will provide individually-identifiable information about consumers to third parties only if we are compelled to do so by order of a duly-empowered governmental authority, we have the express permission of the consumer, or it is necessary to process transactions and provide our services. 5. Privacy and Our Business Partners. When we make our technology or services available to business partners, we will not share with them any more consumer information than is necessary, and we will make every reasonable effort to assure, by contract or otherwise, that they use our technology and services in a manner that is consistent with this Privacy Policy. REFUND POLICY You will be entitled to a partial or complete refund of paid sums if: 1. Your application is not accepted. 2. Your class or course is canceled before you begin training. 3. You cancel your enrollment and demand a refund in writing, mailed or delivered within three business days of signing the Enrollment Agreement, even if you have started classes. 4. You cancel your enrollment after more than three business days of signing the Enrollment Agreement, but before starting classes. 5. You cancel your enrollment after more than three business days of signing the Enrollment Agreement and after starting classes. 6. The school is permanently closed. In the case of #1,#2 or #3, you will receive a full refund. In the case of #4, ACADEMY DI CAPELLI will retain the Application Fee and Registration Fee ($100.00), and will refund all other sums paid. In the case of #5: The down-payment, which is a minimum for $500, is non- refundable. Any student that goes beyond the 50% point of the course will be responsible for the entire amount of the remaining Tuition. The half-way or 50% point for a Fulltime student is 24 ˝ weeks and for Part-time is 39 ˝ weeks. Any student who pays the entire tuition in full before the course start date, will be entitled to the following refund in the case of cancellation: • Within zero (0) to three (3) days of course start date is 100%. • Within four (4) to fourteen (14) days of course start date is 90%. • Within fifteen (15) to forty-five (45) days of course start date is 75%. • No refund offered to anyone after the forty-fifth (45th) day of the course start date. B. Enrollment time is defined as the time elapsed between the actual starting date and the date of the student's last day of physical attendance in the school. Any monies due the applicant or student shall be refunded within 45 days of formal cancellation by the student, or formal termination by the school, which shall occur no more than 30 days from the last day of physical attendance, or in the case of a leave of absence, the documented date of return. 1. The cost of the kit and supplies is not included in tuition adjustment computations. These items become the property of the student when issued and are non-refundable except in the following circumstances: 2. Your application is not accepted, or your class is canceled. 3. You cancel enrollment and demand a refund in writing, mailed or delivered to within three business days of signing the contract, even if you have started classes. 4. You cancel enrollment before starting classes. The school is not required to refund amounts of $25 or less. In the case of #6, you will receive a pro-rata refund of tuition. The termination date for the refund computation purposes is the last date of actual attendance by the student. Examples of refund policy calculations are available to students upon request. THERE IS NO REFUND FOR PRODUCTS
